Refund, Return, Replacement, and Cancellation Policy
1. General Policy Position
Because watches and fashion accessories are sensitive products that may show signs of wear
a er use, return and replacement requests are typically governed by condition, packaging, and
reporting timelines. Indian watch retailers commonly require prompt defect reporting, unused
condition, and original packaging for claims to be considered.[cite:1761][cite:1756]
Crolot therefore recommends a tightly defined policy that protects both the customer
experience and the business from misuse.
2. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled only before they are packed or dispatched for shipping. A cancellation
request should be sent as soon as possible through the contact details published on the website,
along with the order number, customer name, and registered phone number or email address.
Once an order has been packed, shipped, or handed over to the courier partner, cancellation
may no longer be possible. Some Indian watch sellers use short cancellation windows for this
reason.[cite:1761]
If a prepaid order is successfully cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be processed to the
original payment method within 5 to 7 business days, subject to payment-gateway and banking
timelines.
3. Return Eligibility
Returns will only be accepted in limited circumstances, specifically where:
the product delivered is damaged in transit;
the product delivered is defective due to a manufacturing issue;
the wrong product is delivered; or
the product is materially different from what was ordered.
To be eligible for a return, replacement, or refund, the product must be unused, unworn,
unaltered, and returned with the original box, tags, manuals, warranty card, invoice, and all
accessories received with the order. Similar eligibility conditions appear in Indian watch
return policies.[cite:1761][cite:1756]
Returns will not be accepted for products that show signs of use, scratches, resizing, strap
adjustment damage, mishandling, water damage due to improper use, accidental damage, or
missing packaging and accessories.
4. Reporting a Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Product
Any issue relating to damage, manufacturing defect, missing item, or incorrect product must
be reported within 24 hours of delivery. A short reporting period is common in Indian watch
ecommerce policies, particularly for manufacturing-defect and damaged-delivery complaints.
[cite:1761][cite:1756]
The claim email or support request should include:
order number;
customer name and contact details;
a clear description of the issue;
unboxing video where available;
clear photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label, and defect or damage.
Failure to report the issue within the stated period may result in rejection of the request.
5. Inspection and Approval
All approved pickup returns or customer-shipped returns will be subject to quality inspection
a er receipt. Crolot reserves the right to determine whether the returned product meets the
eligibility requirements for a refund, replacement, repair, store credit, or rejection.
If the returned product fails inspection because it has been used, damaged a er delivery,
tampered with, or returned without required materials, the request may be declined and the
product may be shipped back to the customer.
6. Replacement or Refund Outcome
If a claim is approved, Crolot may, at its sole discretion, provide one of the following remedies:
replacement of the same product, subject to stock availability;
exchange for another product of equal value, with payment adjustment if applicable;
repair, where appropriate and feasible;
refund to the original payment method.
If a replacement product is unavailable, a refund may be issued instead. Refunds are usually
processed a er approval and inspection, and actual credit timelines depend on the original
payment provider.[cite:1761]
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items shall not be eligible for return or refund unless they are delivered
damaged, defective, or incorrect:
products purchased during final sale, clearance, or special non-returnable promotions;
gi cards or promotional vouchers;
customized, engraved, or made-to-order products;
products damaged due to misuse, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized repair attempts.
8. Shipping Charges on Returns
Original shipping charges, cash-on-delivery fees, convenience fees, gi-wrap fees, and similar
service charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on Crolotʼs part, such as
dispatch of the wrong item or delivery of a damaged or defective product. This approach is
consistent with typical ecommerce and watch-retail policy structures.[cite:1761][cite:1758]
9. Refused Deliveries and Returned-to-Origin Orders
If a customer refuses delivery of a confirmed order without a valid product-related reason, or if
the shipment is returned because of repeated delivery failure, incorrect address, or customer
unavailability, Crolot reserves the right to deduct applicable logistics and handling charges
from any eligible refund. Similar restrictions are used by Indian watch sellers, especially for
failed COD or partial-COD orders.[cite:1761]
10. Fraud Prevention
Crolot reserves the right to refuse returns, cancellations, or refunds in cases involving repeated
abuse of the return policy, suspicious claims, serial order refusal, manipulated evidence, or
fraudulent transactions
